SENS Research Foundation Raises More Than $45,000 for Research Aimed at Slowing Down the Aging Process


Funding Campaign Achieves 154% of Goal, Allowing Biologists to Double the Pace of Research on Restoring Lost Mitochondrial Function and Preventing Age-related Damage MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — November 3, 2015 — The SENS Research Foundation (SRF), a non-profit organization focused on transforming the way the world researches and treats age-related disease, is pleased to announce that its recent MitoSENS Mitochondrial Repair Project fundraising campaign raised $46,128, achieving 154 percent of its goal. The funds, generated through the longevity research focused crowdfunding platform Lifespan.io, will accelerate the project’s research efforts toward restoring lost mitochondrial function and preventing age-related damage.
